Looks like an interesting and varied collection of cello pieces.
This album features two violin concertos I like a lot.
Many people are familiar with the opening movement, "O Fortuna" but the whole thing is worth listening to. Basically, it's the poems of rebel monks about drinking and living it up, set to music.
I recently bought another recording of this from iTunes. It is very powerful. The history of it is especially interesting.
It took me a long time to start getting into Mahler, but I like this symphony particularly.
It took me a long time to really start liking Brahms, but now many of his works are among my favorites.
Simply glorious.
Monumental. The more I listen to them, the more I like them. My favorite symphony is the 7th.
