On the day I was born, the number one song was "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree" by Tony Orlando and Dawn.

OMG. I'm going to cheat and pick the song that hit number one two days later: "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" by Stevie Wonder. Much better choice!

There are a lot of pop songs like this but I have to admit that one of my all-time favorites is "I'm into something good" by Herman's Hermits.

Some days you just feel like listening to something very innocent and fun. Or at least I do.
